More than 250,000 enslaved Black people in the state learned of their freedom that day. This day became known as #Juneteenth, a federal, and now Minnesota state holiday. Rochester Academy for Independent Living (RAIL) held its graduation ceremony on Friday morning. During the ceremony, each graduate was individually highlighted, and then they celebrated with cake and lemonade afterward.

Last week, our Launching Emerging Adults Program (LEAP) held their graduation ceremony. Lots of happy tears were shed as we celebrated these hardworking students. We are very proud of all the work they've put in and the strength and resiliency they display each day!
